Big Waves is proud of d to announce Lin Naraoka as one of the recipients of the 2025 Vaughn Bigelow Jr. Water Polo Scholarship! Lin is a 2025 graduate of Eaglecrest High School. She began playing at the age of 8 with Team Vegas Water Polo. She moved to Denver in 2018 and found a home with the Colorado Pirates.

Josh’s resilience, discipline, and ability to balance the ebbs and flows of life, academics, and athletics made him stand out. We are thrilled to support him as he sets sail for an exciting future at MIT.

Congratulations, Vincent Mattei, on being a 2024 Vaughn Bigelow Jr. Scholarship recipient. Vincent is a 2024 Thomas Jefferson High School graduate in Denver, Colorado. An academic powerhouse in high school, he plans to jump right into college and start fulfilling his dream to create new drugs and technology to help thousands or even millions of people.
